Collectors Information on the Scandalli Accordion
In 1946 they merged with Soprani to form the well-known Farfisa company in Castelfidardo, Italy, the original birthplace of the accordion. Their latest mergers in 1984 and 2003, continued their tradition and goal to provide the same quality Italian Accordions that were made since the early 1900s. By 1915, Scandalli actually became more than just a small little home accordion workshop, but an industrial, competitive player in the musical instrument market. By 1941, The Scandalli Accordion factory employed over 700 workers and was quickly becoming one of the largest in the world.
By 1946, Scandalli merged with Settimio, Soprani to form the well-known Farfisa company.
